In collaboration with Parfumcity.ch I want to present you a new fragrance from Paco Rabanne. Paco Rabanne launches a new feminine fragrance in August 2015 under the mythical name of Olympéa. Olympea represents the equivalent of the masculine edition Invictus from 2013, inspired by the athletic spirit, competition and victory. The concept is based on the idea of a modern Greek goddess and evokes strength, dynamism and conquests.
The parfume is developed by Loc Dong and Anne Flipo. It's both salty and floral compositions is characterized as fresh orienta, opening with sparkling green mandarin, aquatic notes of water jasmine and fiery ginger lily with salted vanilla in the heart. The base notes are sandalwood, cashmere and ambergris. The face of the parfume is Brazilian model Luma Grothe. The bottle is shaped like a laurel crown, designed by Marc Ange. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 80ml Eau de Parfum. Above all else , Olympea is simply a joy to wear.
My trial of the fragrance this week has lead to one overwhelming conclusion: Olympea is a huge compliment magnet, and I welcome any and every scent that inspires further conversation about fragrance. I have found myself reaching for its feel-good vanilla tones over everything else in my collection, not just because it smells edible -though it most definitely checks that but because it makes me feel pretty fantastic when I spritz it on :)
