As promised, here's my review of the SHU UEMURA hair products. I got the products about a month ago but I wanted to wait and see how my hair reacts to them. Since summer time requiers the most hair care it was the perfect time for trying out something new. I haven't tried any of the Shu Uemura lines before so I was very excited, as well as a little sceptical.

I have tested the shampoo, the conditioner and the hair balm for normal hair types while there's also a line for severely damaged and greasy hair. Shu Uemura is a Japanese brand that belongs into the group of pricier hair products, but the price is justified since they really do their job. After just 3 washes using the shampoo and the conditioner your hair already starts feeling softer and healthier.

The truth is that hair should be nourished from within, with proper nutrition, but external care is also important and I believe everyone should invest some money into a good shampoo, balm or so. I was especially impressed by the balm that can be applied to both wet and dry hair. I have used it on wet hair and the result is amazing. Hair is easier to comb and it gets a silky texture and shape. Since it contains a variety of oils I haven't used oil separately as I usually do after washing my hair. It is very similar to the REVLON 10in1 balm that I have been using for the last 5 years, That is a cheaper version for those who can't afford the Shu Uemura Wonder Worker. One of the other things I like is the bottle design, for it is not ordinary. #THUMBSUP
