My Burberry Black is a feminine perfume by Burberry. The scent was launched in 2016 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.

I find My Burberry Black softer than the original My Burberry. It’s less soapy than the original, but sweeter and darker without being heavier if that makes any sense. It is unique enough to be different but generic enough to be liked. It is a mix of floral and fruity ingredients which is a soft confluence of contrasting notes. In fact a beautifully blended floriental with smooth peach and amber touches. Sweet, oriental, creamy, seductive, warm, floral, linear and irresistible.

The fragrance fuses the scent of sun-drenched jasmine flower and peach nectar with a touch of rose. The signature rose note at the heart of My Burberry is given a sweet and inviting candied twist, while rich amber patchouli rounds off the scent for a deep and captivating finish. My Burberry Black as a whole is enticing, but not intense. It’s easy to wear, with that coming and going magic I love in a perfume. It lasts and lasts on the skin, but never yells or becomes cloying. It is an Eau de parfum, so I apply judiciously of course.

If you love soft, sexy and slightly dark perfumes, give this one a try. Like the iconic Burberry trench coat, a rich dark floral like My Burberry Black can become a must-have in your collection.
